Class 91 No. 91024 is displayed in the main constuction area of BREL Crewe Works at their 150 Year Anniversary Open Day held on Saturday 21st July 1990. The second cab or 'blunt end' is prominent in this view as the initial idea was that although limited to 110mph, they would be able to operate as normal locomotives when not needed for ECML passenger duties. However in practice this has only happened rarely. Reclassified and renumbered as Class 91/1 No. 91124 in February 2003 she currently operates for East Coast in their grey and purple livery.
