On the night of Sunday 14th September 2014, First Great Western's hired-in DRS Class 57 No. 57310 'Pride of Cumbria' was used on the Night Riviera sleeper, with 57604 dead in train, thought to be as 'insurance', the pair are seen here standing at Exeter St Davids with 1A40 the 21:15 Penzance to London Paddington, this service ran via Honiton, and the loco's had started the night in top and tail mode, before 57310 was run around at Exeter to prevent excessive noise in the sleeping compartments from a dead loco.
