Class 43 No. 43138 at Bristol Temple Meads heads a service for the West Country on 19th September 1983 with 43137 on the rear. Released from Crewe Works in the autumn of 1979 but did not enter service until June 1980 at Old Oak Common. The power car was used on HST Trailer commissioning trials from Derby with 43137 lasting for some time.
