The Chur-Arosa Line was operated on 200voltsDC and in 1958 a modern ABFe4/4 series of railcars were introduced. The first of the series of 7 railcars No. 481 stands outside the Main SBB/RhB Station at Chur in Bahnhofplatz on an Arosa train on 3oth August 1958. These railcars were withdrawn when the Chur-Arosa Line was converted to the standard RhB traction system of 11,00volts 16 2/3 cycles in the late 1990's
