Class 56 No. 56009 at Derby Midland with an empty MGR from Willington Power Station on the evening of 25th August 1983. The locomotive arrived at Harwich with classmate No. 56010 on 7th October 1976 and was added to stock at Tinsley on 27th May 1977, working until withdrawal on 29th August 1996. The 'grid' was moved to Brush Traction, Loughborough in November 1996 for use as a spares source, after which it was used as a static Power Unit Test and Transporter bed for overhauled engines and renumbered to 56201.It was cut up by Harry Needle on 9th September 2013.
