No. D200 is the prototype English Electric Type 4 (later to become Class 40) built at Vulcan Foundry, Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire in 1958. eventually 200 such locos were built for BR. This particular engine was withdrawn in 1981, seen at the NRM York on 26th July 2013.
