Contrasting blue liveries are seen on the Class 150/1 and 150/2 combination working the St. Ives shuttles on 3rd September 2012. Here No. 150106 leads No. 150234 past the small station at Lelant and heads for Lelant Saltings Station some 400 yards further along the line. The Saltings Station was opened in 1977 as a park and ride to relieve the chronic parking problems in St. Ives during the summer months, and has been a great success. Future plans will see the waste land at St. Erth be developed into the park and ride instead of the Saltings.
