Class 47 No. 47829 awaits its next turn at Derby Station on 13th July 2002. This locomotive was one of the Class 47s chosen to have heritage liveries at the end on their use on cross country Virgin Trains. The Police livery was to evoke memory of the Class 37 in a similar style used to promote Intercity travel. No. 47829 was used by British Transport Police in an anti trespass campaign.
