LMS Royal Scot class No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' hurries past Copmanthorpe on 17th August 2011 with the Scarborough Spa Express returning from the coast. The locomotive had replaced class 5 No. 44932 which had returned to Carnforth, however, the 'Scot' failed the following morning at Hunslet, Leeds with cylinder problems and was rescued by a WCR Class 37, arrival back in York being over 2 hours late.
