Former Barry island Railway resident 47768 has passed to West Coast Railways. On 31st March 2011 it was moved to Carnforth by No. 57001, recently released from Barrow Hil and still in the remains of its Freightliner livery, together with 47851. The convoy, 0Z47, 1123 Barry to Carnforth is seen at Coedkernew. No. 57001 was new as class 47 no. D1875 in 1965, later becoming 47356.
