The A1 Locomotive Trust was again privileged to provide traction for a Royal Train working on February 4 when A1 Class 4-6-2 No. 60163 Tornado worked from Preston to the Museum of Science & Industry ( MOSI ) with HRH Prince Charles and Lady Camilla on board. No. 60163 is thought to be the first known locomotive working from the main line to the museum site since 1980 and is seen receiving attention after its arrival at the original Liverpool & Manchester Liverpool Road station where their Royal Highnesses detrained.
