Saxon State Railway No No. 252, one of three Fairlie locos built by Hartman in 1902 for the Rollbockbahn, which ran on the 5.4 Km long metre gauge line from Reichenbach/Vogtland to Oberheinsdorf. The loco, which is not in a working condition is seen here on display at Nordhausen on 16th May 1999, as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Harzquerbahn. The loco was stored at Ilfeld in the Harz for a number of years, but has now been returned to a new museum at Oberheinsdorf. The loco was renumbered No 99 152 by the DRG and the overall canopy was removed, but was replaced when the DR restored it to its original condition.
