Having reached the final of the FA Vase tournament, Glossop North End Football Club organised a special charter to take some 700 of their fans to Wembley on 10th May 2009. Operated by West Coast Railways, the 12 coach train worked out of Glossop ahead of the normal Sunday passenger service. With the club's Surrey Street ground visible at the foot of the town's infamous chimney, Class 47/8 No. 47826 leads the 1Z85 09:16 Glossop to Wembley Central away from the Pennine terminus. All is not well though as the 47 had failed and the train was being pushed from the rear by Class 57/3 No. 57308 'TIN TIN' which had earlier worked the empty coaching stock to Glossop after the loco on the other end of train, Class 47/7 No. 47786 'Roy Castle OBE', had also failed.
