Class 143 units are rare in Malvern and pairs doubly so. On 10th September 2008, 143621 and 143603 depart Malvern Link while working the 14:51 Great Malvern to Westbury. The incoming service (09:00 from Brighton) had been re-started at Bristol using these sets which were spare.
