On 2nd January 2025, SAR Class 19D 4-8-2 locomotive No. 3322 Clare, built by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow in 1948, approaches Elgin station in the Western Cape, with the Ceres Rail Company rail charter from Cape Town to the Railway Market at Elgin. Immediately behind are two Transnet Class 35's; No. 35.483 and 35.002, which will lead the rail charter back to Cape Town.
