Ruston and Hornsby 0-4-0DM Class 88DS No. 382824 (VL 6) Hector at Spring Village, Telford Steam Railway on 29th December 2024 prior to providing brakevan rides within the station limits. This diesel mechanical shunter was built in 1955 and was purchased privately from F.H. Lloyd and Co. Birmingham in 1981 and has recently had a thorough overhaul, it is used primarily on works trains but also hauls brakevan rides for passengers during special events.
