On the 27th September 2024, during the Autumn Steam Gala held at the NYMR between the 26th September and the 29th September 2024, Stanier Black 5 No. 44806 departs from Goathland station with an afternoon train from Grosmont to Pickering. To the left, waiting to depart with a train from Pickering to Grosmont, is GWR Hall class No. 4953 'Pitchford Hall', which is visiting during the Gala from the Epping and Ongar Railway.
