The unusual sight of a passenger working overtaking a freight train on a heritage railway was experienced at the Leighton Buzzard Railway Autumn Steam Gala on 28th September 2024 on the dual track between Stonehenge Works and Mundays Hill, when Motor Rail Simplex No. 8695 built 1941 and 7036 Damredub built 1936 with sand tipplers were passed by a service returning to Pages Park.
