Class 127 DMU No. 55966 and 55967 converted to an express parcels unit is seen at Liverpool Lime Street on 7th November 1986 in BR green livery complete with whiskers. The red plaque behind the drivers door commemorates 1.25 million miles in service on the Bedford - St Pancras route prior to conversion to a parcels unit. The unit is preserved at the Midland Railway Butterley.
