The Northern Belle excursion which operated from Birmingham International to Weymouth and return on 15th August 2024 is seen here passing through Dorchester West in bleak weather to head up the Heart of Wessex Line to Castle Cary to access the main line back to Birmingham. Class 57/3 No. 57315 leads the train through the station with classmate 57/3 No. 57313 Scarborough Castle on the rear.
