On 28th June 2024, DB Cargo Class 66/0, No. 66142 'Maritime Intermodal Three', passes Carlisle Citadel station hauling two Royal Mail Class 325s Nos. 325004 and 325006, forming the 14.19 DB Cargo service from Shieldmuir Mail Terminal to Daventry mail train, although it appears that this service was cancelled after Warrington.
