On the 22nd May 2024, a Colas Rail Freight Class 70 No. 70809 gets going again through Carlisle Citadel station after picking up an additional crew member working a heavily loaded: the 11.31 spent ballast service from Carlisle New Yard to Dewsbury. This Land Recovery service, which involves taking the material to Dewsbury for cleaning, will go down the S and C.
