For a few months, vegetation clearance allowed a view of the shortest ECML tunnel at Askham, until regrowth obscured the view once more. on 30th March 2013 East Coast Class 43 No. 43306 exits the tunnel leading the 0830 Edinburgh to King's Cross service.
