In late afternoon on 26th March 2024, a trio of Transnet Class 36's, with No. 36.046 leading classmates nos. 36.004 and 35.023, pass Paarden Eiland as they leave Cape Town Docks with a trainload of containers, which are initially bound for the container terminal at Bellville depot, Cape Town.
