On the 2nd December 2023 the 17.00 Norfolk Lights Express from Sheringham was held on the climb up to Weybourne as the Santa Special was still in Weybourne station. It eventually rolled in on the wrong platform 30 minutes late hauled by BR 9F No. 92203 as the signalman takes the token. BR Standard 4 No. 76084 was on this end of the Santa Special.
