On the 13th December 2024 N2 No. 1744 arrived at Sheringham from Northern Steam Ltd where the loco was overhauled and the boiler reunited with the chassis and passed its steam test. It awaits towing up to Weybourne where the overhaul will be finished off and hopefully running again during 2025.
