DB Class 66/0 No. 66183 descends from Cwmbargoed with a loaded coal working for Margam on 9th October 2023. The train is approaching the end of the single-track branch and will wait here behind Ystrad Mynach station before joining the main line down the Rhymney Valley to Cardiff. Recent vegetation clearance on the embankment here has opened up this view.
