DB Class 66/0 No. 66030 - with classmate No. 66172 on the other end - waits at Heath Junction on 1st September 2024 with a mixed train of autoballasters with fresh ballast and open box wagons for spent ballast. The work on the Coryton branch, which diverges left from the Rhymney line in the middle distance, saw a short section of track beneath Heath Halt Road bridge lowered and relaid to provide additional clearance for the recently installed overhead wires.
