On the 9th September 2023 L104 trailer car No M56182 had a day of inaugural runs after a lengthy resoration to original condition from a former Sandite unit. Creating a scene from the late 50s early 60s of the use of a goods wagon to deliver goods to out of the way places used by local DMU services. The 14.57 Holt to Sheringham service recreated this scene and after arriving at Sheringham with the assistance of L101 power car No. 51188 the van was about to be reversed up to the loop so the unit could run round and reverse back into the platform ready for the 15.48 service to Holt.
