An unusual visitor to Cromer on 25th September 2024 was Class 69 No. 69012 Falcon2. This was an unscheduled run from Stowmarket (having run this route the previous day) but due to the wires down at Colchester it was sent up to Cromer instead of its scheduled run to Southend.
This was its second run to Cromer on route learning for the forthcoming RHTT duties that will be 66 hauled.
