On the 9th September 2023, Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Co Ltd Class 104 trailer car No M56182 had a day of inaugural runs, paired with Class 101 power car No. 51188, after a long restoration at Weybourne by the Birmingham Railcar Works Group. It was restored from a former Sandite unit to original condition over nine years. The 14:57 service from Holt had attached tail load to commemorate the late 50s early 60s use of a goods van on the rear to enable goods to get to the more out of the way stations. The units are seen running down the bank from Dead Mans Bridge at the west end of Sheringham golf course.
