Seen at the Victorian Goldfields Railway Maldon on 12th April 2023 are Class K No. K157 2-8-0 broad gauge steam locomotive being used as a source of spares for Classmate No. K160 (currently under restoration at Steamrail Newport), and Class D3 No. D3 646 4-6-0 broad gauge steam locomotive built by Newport Workshops in 1915 in store pending a decision on potential renovation.
