Class H No. H220 'Heavy Harry', a unique 3 cylinder 4-8-4 5ft 3in gauge locomotive built in 1941 in the Newport Workshops with 55000 lbf tractive effort, was successful on heavy freight workings covering 3000km a week hauling 820 ton trains comfortably uin 50 inclines. No. H220 is seen at the Newport Railway Museum, Melbourne Australia, on 11th April 2023.
