It was poor weather on the S&C on 22nd April 2023 when this pair of Locomotive Services Limited Class 47's, with No. 47828 leading classmate No. 47810 / D1924 'Crewe Diesel Depot', came over Ais Gill summit at 13:25 with The Settle and Carlisle Circular rail charter, the 08.11 from Worcester Shrub Hill to Appleby, promoted by Statesmen Rail.
