LSL Class 47/4s No. 47828 and D1924 (47810) 'Crewe Diesel Depot' passing Appleby on 22nd April 2023 working the Settle and Carlisle Circular railtour. The pair were due to make a short stop to change the headcode but it appeared they did this at 60mph!!! The workings were the 0811 Worcester Shrub Hill to Appleby and the 1335 Appleby to Worcester Shrub Hill.
