Locomotive Services Ltd Class 47s No. 47712 'Lady Diana Spencer' and D1924 (47810) 'Crewe Diesel Depot' arriving into Appleby on 20th January 2024 while working the 'Settle and Carlisle Circular' railtour. The pair arrived as 0759 Chester-le-Street to Appleby via the ECML and S&C before departing a couple of minutes later as 1234 Appleby to Leeds via the Tyne Valley and ECML.
