The end of the day is almost upon the photographer for shooting this image with the light rapidly fading. In the evening gloom BR Standard Class 7 No. 70000 'Britannia' approaches Creech Bottom crossing with the late running 16:33 Swanage to River Frome service on the second day of the Swanage Railway Spring Steam Gala the 25th March 2023. BR Standard Class 4 No. 76084 is on the rear to work the train back to Norden then Swanage. Both these locomotives are guests at the Swanage Railway for this Gala.
