On 18th March 2023, the first day of the East Somerset Railway Steam Gala, the 11:20 from Cranmore has arrived at Mendip Vale double headed by Ivatt 2MT No. 46447 and GWR 4500 Class 2-6-2T No. 4555. The Prairie will run round to the front of the train and the Ivatt will attach to the rear, with the service returning to Cranmore in top and tail formation.
