GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' and 7029 'Clun Castle' as the pair pass through Didcot North Junction returning with a private charter to Birmingham Snow Hill from Didcot on 4th March 2023. Earlier in the day the two 'Castles' took part in a Castle Event at Didcot Railway Centre held to celebrate 100 years since the design by Charles Collett of the Castle Class of locomotive.
