At Edinburgh Waverley LSL Class 47/4 No. 47810 ‘Crewe Diesel Depot' sits between Scotrail Class 170/4 No. 170409 and Class 158/7 No. 158738 on 24th February 2023. The Class 47 was on emergency stand by for the three-day 'Scotrail Express' charter operated by classmate No. 47712 during the weekend. In the event, No. 47712 performed faultlessly throughout the weekend.
