Class 52 No. D1015 Western Champion is viewed arriving into Corfe Castle, platform 2, on 12th May 2024 during the Spring Diesel Gala with a service for Norden. In the yard in the top right 2 Class 50's are stabled including 50026 ‘Indomitable' which had derailed near platform 1 the day before. Hence platform 1 was closed to enable the RAIB to conclude reason for derailment and confirm safety to use track, carry out repairs etc.
