'Royal' DB Class 67 No. 67005 'Queen's Messenger' heads a League Cup Final football special from Newcastle to Wembley Central on 26th February 2023, past Copmanthorpe. The train was routed via the ECML to Colton Junction, Sheffield, Leicester, Nuneaton and the WCML. Classmate No. 67024 was on the rear of the train.
