On the morning of the 13th February 2023, Network Rail Class 43 powercars Nos. 43290 and 43272 passes Urlay Nook, near Eaglescliffe, working one of the infrastructure monitoring trains, on a circuit from Darlington to York, that takes in Newcastle, Carlisle, the S&C and Leeds.
