On the 30th January 2023 the chassis and tender of B12 No. 8572 stand outside Weybourne shed tarpaulined up ready to be transported by road to Riley and Sons, Bury where its overhaul will take place. The boiler on the right will be overhauled in the boiler shop at Weybourne.
