GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 7029 'Clun Castle' passes Bathampton Junction on 6th December 2022, heading for Bath Spa at the helm of the outbound leg of Vintage Trains 'The Merchant Venturer' from Solihull to Bath. Tyseley Locomotive Works Class 47 No. D1755 (47773) is on the rear. Following arrival at Bath after detraining passengers the train continued to Bristol Temple Meads for servicing prior to working the return journey.
