After a very wet day, the sky lightened in the early evening on 22nd September 2022, sufficient to catch the passage of Northern Class 156 No. 156401, a recent transfer from East Midlands Railway, which passes Bullgill near Maryport working the 17.49 Northern service from Whitehaven to Carlisle.
