On the 13th September 2022, GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66755 'Tony Berkeley OBE RFG Chairman 1997 - 2018', passes Ferryhill Station, coming off the Stillington (freight only) branch from Stockton-on-Tees, while working the 11.45, fairly regular departmental infrastructure service from Doncaster Up Decoy to Tyne S.S., which after Northallerton takes the line to Teesside before using the Stillington branch to join the ECML at Ferryhill station / Tursdale Junction.
