Today, the 7th September 2022, the regular infrastructure service from Carlisle New Yard to Crewe Basford Hall, was graced by Trans Pennine Express-liveried, DRS Class 68 No. 68019 'Brutus'. Here it is seen grinding up the last few hundred metres to Ais Gill Summit, hauling a collection of wagons including, at the front, a new Wascosa leased box wagon.
