On 7th August 2022, Class 142 No. 142011 leaves Butterley on the first service of the day. The unit was formerly at Newton Heath and used by Northern Rail and arrived at the Midland Railway under its own power in 2020. Originally to be used for spares for other units it has been overhauled and painted in Provincial Blue livery.
