Saphos Trains charter the 'Yorkshire Coast Express' passes Copmanthorpe on 11th May 2022, headed by Royal Scot class No. 46100 'Royal Scot'. The special from Crewe which was routed via Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Victoria and the Hope Valley was running 52 minutes late following extended water stops at Guide Bridge and Milford. Class 47 No. 1944 on the rear, worked the train between Crewe and Liverpool.
